Matej Smrtnik

My name is Matej Smrtnik , i am 32 years old and i come from Bad Eisenkappel!

Bad Eisenkappel is a village in the south of Austria surrounded by amazing mountains. I work at home at our forestry, where our main job is to cut the trees and sell the wood . The farm is 950m above sea level and you have an amazing view from there.

To grow up in this amazing area in the middle of nature was great. My father took me in the mountains when I was a little kid. However, we did not more than four mountains per year. But 2 years ago I went on mount Triglav in Slovenia and ever since I became addicted to mountains.

This year I managed to climb over 30 peaks! And a lot more are an my list ;)
